The Copy Cat book is about a little cat who can't meow. He learns to make different sounds throughout the story /k,s,f,r,l/. The production of each targeted sound is described in the book. Super Duck speech sound cards can be used as visual cues for children with phonological disorders. The processes described include cluster reduction (Bat Duck and Chick), final consonant deletion (Hero Duck), stopping (Super Duck), and fronting (Karate Duck). The cards include a visual, description of process, suggestions for feedback, and minimal pairs.

Bat Duck and Chick - Phono Processes Book (cluster reduction)
Bat Duck and Chick is a part of the Super Duck series which target phonological processes. Bat Duck and Chick target the process of cluster reduction and has multiple /s/-cluster target words throughout the book as well as a repetitive line. Bat Duck and Chick can't fly unless they stick together like clusters. Use the book in therapy to teach the phonological rule of clusters and to elicit multiple productions of words. Super Duck - Phono Processes Book (stopping)
Super Duck is a part of the Super Duck series which target phonological processes. Super Duck targets the process of stopping and has multiple /s,z,f,v, and "sh"/ target words throughout the book as well as a repetitive line. Super Duck can't fly unless he uses his long sound. Use the book in therapy to teach the phonological rule of long sounds (i.e., fricatives) and to elicit multiple productions of words. Check out the corresponding Super Duck sound cards.

Karate Duck is a part of the Super Duck series which target phonological processes. Karate Duck targets the process of fronting and has multiple /k/ and /g/ target words throughout the book as well as a repetitive line. Karate Duck uses his powerful back kicks to defeat criminals.
