AAC Implementation Cards were designed for quick access and easy use by SLP/teachers/paraprofessionals. The goal of the cards is to increase child's ability to communicate with AAC by targeting IEP goals across environments and communication partners. There are 6 total cards, an instruction card, and an activity planner. The 6 cards are for general classroom/school day activities: calendar/morning meeting, free play/centers, PE/gross motor, snack/lunch, music, and art. Each card has two levels of goals -1)emerging and functional communicators 2)functional and generative communicators. The cards contain elicitation prompts to be used by SLP/teacher/paraprofessional, vocabulary and messages for the child, and a place to keep data.
